Being born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, I have a deep local knowledge of Newcastle and the surrounding area. We established the School in 2009 and I have been the Managing Director since. I thoroughly enjoy meeting all of our new students and helping them further their education and help put them on the path to success.
I am from Jordan, I’ve come to Newcastle since six months, and I speak English as a second language. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work in this friendly and supporting atmosphere and to get the chance to meet people from different nationalities and backgrounds.
I enjoy my work as a marketing officer and being responsible for representing Newcastle-ISE in Middle East region.

Hello everyone. I come from Slovakia, where I studied English and German language. I enjoyed my studies so much, that I wanted to immerse myself deeper in the cultures of both countries. After having spent my year abroad in Germany, I came to the UK to complete my mission. And I love living in Newcastle and exploring the places around! I joined the team at Newcastle International School of English in September 2015 and what I like the most about the school is a friendly, welcoming and supporting atmosphere. The best thing about my job is meeting people from different countries every day. At NISE, we do not only teach our students English but we also help them to socialise and become independent and confident in a foreign country.
Director of Studies
English is my passion and I have been teaching it both in the UK and abroad for 12 years. Having learnt two foreign languages myself, I do understand my students and the process they go through when studying English. It is amazing to see how they improve and become independent users of English.
I was born and raised in the UK. I have been teaching English for approximately 9 years and love it. After completing my TESOL teaching qualification I travelled abroad to teach. I have taught English in the UK, South Korea, Oman and Sicily. I like to create a friendly, fun but challenging teaching environment. But more than anything love to see my students succeed at their studies. I have experience teaching Cambridge exams, general English, teacher training, ESP, all levels from kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, university and business English. My hobby is stand-up comedy.
I’ve been working as a TEFL teacher for the past 7 years during which I’ve worked in both the UK and Europe. It’s fascinating to do a job that requires a great level of communication with different cultures and encourages me to be creative every day. I’ve spent many years teaching both exam and general English classes and as I’ve been a student of foreign languages myself- I can speak Greek and German- I can fully sympathize with the students struggle to pass exams and how to help them facilitate their learning. At NISE our doors are open to all our students to help or joke, thus creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for everybody.
I was born in rural England and moved to Newcastle as a student in 2008. I loved Newcastle so much that I didn’t want to leave! I have a passion for our language and love sharing my knowledge with the students. One of my favourite parts of working at NISE is not only seeing how much our students improve their English skills, but also seeing them make life-long friends. It’s always sad to say goodbye but it’s a great feeling to see that people have achieved their goals.
